'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is currently midway through the four-year contract he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial important honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely consider prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects

  • Ongoing success with Bayern Munich stays Kane's top focus
  • The option of a Premier League return has considerably decreased
  • New contract talks could commence in the upcoming future
  • Kane's remarkable goal-scoring performance continues to amaze
